Obtaining ZIP files

Depending on your license, you can generate a ZIP file from your publication and upload it on your own web server.

Obtaining your publication as a ZIP file

Go to the project of the publication that you want to convert to a ZIP file. Once you find the publication, click the 3 dots. From there, you should see Compress to ZIP. Click on the button and you will see a message letting you know we’ll send you a download link to your email shortly.

When you receive the email with the download link, you’ll see the following information about the ZIP file:

You requested a compressed version of your publication. We've prepared a file for you to download here:

*The link shown above is just an example of what the URL should look like. Please note that it's not an actual working link. You can reach out to your main point of contact if you need a zip file for testing purposes.

Note that this is a compressed tarball archive, which you can extract with a variety of utilities, such as WinRAR or 7-Zip, or directly on the command line with:

 tar -xzvf filename.tar.gz

In order to view your publication, upload the extracted files to a web server. This is due to the publication using cross origin XMLHttpRequest requests, which will not work on locally viewed pages (e.g. using the file:// scheme).
